Veneer V∅lt

Co-op survival horror · Guard Bots · Infected exhibits · PC — Steam

Description

"Grab your friends and clock in as adorable Guard Bots in the most extravagant museum. Set up exhibitions and patrol the halls, but beware — when the lights go out, the exhibits wander off and cause expensive mayhem. Can you contain the damage to Mr. Veneer's pockets or will he have to “upgrade” you?"

You're part of a team of up to 4 Guard Bots, trusted with organising and protecting the Vault of Mr. Veneer — your charismatic, not-at-all ominous boss. Every few days, he returns from his expeditions with artefacts and relics of questionable value. Sort them. Display them. Defend them. And whatever you do, don't ask where they came from.

> Day Shift

Set up exhibits and make sure everything is in order before opening up for the public. Follow your instructions and curate the museum halls meticulously to leave the guests satisfied and eager to come back the next day.

> An Extravagant Museum

During the day you will notice strange activities — only you and your guard friends are aware of what is happening. It is your duty to prevent disaster. Grab your tools, be always on the lookout for anomalies in the artefacts. Pay attention, double-check everything, and do your job.

> Night Shift

When darkness shrouds the museum halls, unknown forces awaken and wreak havoc. Don't panic. Although you weren't trained for this, the security room is equipped with everything you need to survive the night. Beware of what looms in the shadows — don't try to fight it.

> Worship the Bubble Lamp

You need all the help you can get during the night. Worship the all-mighty Bubble Lamp and be blessed by it — or cursed, if it deems you unworthy. It's up to you if you are willing to take the chance.

History

> Origins

KindieSpirits was born in 2026 from a personal challenge. After leaving his own gaming company in Italy, our founder decided to start over on his own terms — to prove he could build something right, his way. What started as a one-man mission grew into something much more serious when his sister joined to handle the art, turning a solo struggle into a family journey. That's where the name comes from: Kin (family) and Indie.

> How Veneer V∅lt happened

Veneer V∅lt started as a prototype inspired by REPO and Observation Duty. The core idea — adorable robots failing to prevent expensive disasters — refused to go away. It went through countless iterations. Mr. Veneer got involved. Things escalated. The studio is fully independent, self-funded, and unapologetically self-published, built to prove that starting over is always possible, even when everything seems lost.

> Current status

Veneer V∅lt is actively in development. The Steam page is live and wishlisting is open.
