Veneer V∅lt

Co-op survival horror · Guard Bots · Infected exhibits · PC — Steam

Description

"Grab your friends and clock in as adorable Guard Bots in the most extravagant museum of all time. Craft artifacts, set up exhibitions and patrol the halls by day, but beware — when the lights go out, the exhibits wake up and wander off, causing mayhem. Do you have what it takes to handle it?"

> Veneer V∅lt

The visitors stopped coming forever ago, but you and your crew never stopped believing. Every day you look for the perfect solution to bring your beloved guests back. Somewhere along the way, you learned to think for yourself, except no one ever updated your protocol. You continue to patrol the dusty halls and repair what you can, all in the hope that someone might visit again one day.

> The Museum

Explore this fully destructible voxel museum where every object can be broken, recycled, and crafted into new creations. Restore galleries, rearrange exhibits, or accidentally reduce history to a pile of crafting materials.

> Crafting Machine

Collect materials from broken exhibits and unleash your creativity with the crafting machine in the Depo. Anything you can think of, you can print.

> Day Shift

Set up the exhibits and make sure everything is in order. You will notice strange activities during the day, it is your duty to prevent disaster, so grab your tools and always be on the lookout for anomalies in the artifacts.

> Night Shift

When darkness shrouds the museum halls, unknown forces awaken and wreak havoc. Don't panic. Although you weren't trained for this, the Security Room and Depo are equipped with everything you need to survive the night.

> Worship the Bubble Lamp

You need all the help you can get during the night. Worship the all-mighty Bubble Lamp and be blessed by it ... or cursed, if it deems you unworthy. It's up to you if you are willing to take the chance.

History

> Origins

KindieSpirits was born in 2026 from a personal challenge. After leaving his own gaming company in Italy, our founder decided to start over on his own terms — to prove he could build something right, his way. What started as a one-man mission grew into something much more serious when his sister joined to handle the art, turning a solo struggle into a family journey. That's where the name comes from: Kin (family) and Indie.

> How Veneer V∅lt happened

Veneer V∅lt started as a prototype inspired by REPO and Observation Duty. The core idea — adorable robots failing to prevent expensive disasters — refused to go away. It went through countless iterations. Mr. Veneer got involved. Things escalated. The studio is fully independent, self-funded, and unapologetically self-published, built to prove that starting over is always possible, even when everything seems lost.

> Current status

Veneer V∅lt is actively in development. The Steam page is live and wishlisting is open.
